SpA Celebrates 25th Anniversary December 7th 2002 – Persico SpA celebrated their 25th anniversary in considerable style with a program that involved both the world of rotational moulding and the local community. One hundred customers and suppliers from all over Europe attended an open day at their Nembro, Italy facility. This was a chance to see the latest developments in mold building techniques and the new projects and services that Persico has in the pipeline. Displays manned by Persico staff included the following items:
During the Open House, there was also a presentation by Dr. Paul Nugent on his new book, Rotational Molding: A Practical Guide along with overviews of rotational molding markets around the world. The atmosphere was celebratory with a buffet and champagne toast led by hosts Pierino and Isa Persico. In the evening, the celebrations shifted gear with over 1200 people from the local community attending a wonderful evening of music. The Persico Compression Division was rearranged to present local group ‘Banda Larga’, a group of over 50 singers and 50 musicians who entertained the audience with an amazing display of classical and contemporary musical talents. Singers young and old held the crowd in rapture right through to the midnight hour. All in all, a wonderful celebration to mark a truly wonderful occasion.
