Australia 2002

My recent trip to Australia offered an opportunity to meet with a large number of molders in three major centers, Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane. The sessions were lively (Australians are not known for being shy!) and produced some good questions and interactions. The sessions were offered as technical training opportunities by JR Courtenay Polymers for their customers and were well received by all who attended.

Perth, Western Australia. This is a huge territory with most of the molders concentrated around the Perth area. Some very large products being made out here.

Melbourne was the largest group with some very new molders in the group. One could only be described as a nascent rotomolder having purchased his company only three days prior to the seminar!

Brisbane attracted molders from all over Queensland. We even had ARMA's CEO, Leisa Donlan join us to refresh her rotomolding knowledge.

A very enjoyable series of sessions which were also opportunities to go visit some of the molders close to each of the cities. Thanks to all those who kindly allowed me to come see their operations and thanks to Gavin Tanner and Peter Tinkler of Courtenay's for their hospitality and the opportunity.
