| Borealis Appoints Ultrapolymers as Distributors Customer Conference, April 21-22, Brussels, Belgium Borealis have appointed Ultrapolymers as their primary distributor for materials in Europe and celebrated the fact with many of their customers at an event in Brussels. Senior officials from Borealis, including their Executive Vice President for Polyolefins, David Rolph and Vice President of the Molding Business Unit, Andre van Uffelt were in attendance to assure everyone of the continued support of Borealis for the rotomolding industry. Andre has been absent from the industry for about ten years sunning himself in the South of France but made the interesting comment that people may think that Borealis is withdrawing from the industry but they may find that they have woken a sleeping lion! We shall see.
Benoit DeKeyser of Ultrapolymers gave an overview of the new company and their plans for the future to a broadly mixed audience from all over Europe.
