What is the Format?

The full seminar covers 14-15 hours of direct instruction over two days combined with regular question and answer sessions. Customized versions of the seminar can be provided for one day events.

Bringing together employees from different areas and shifts can help provide a forum for exchange of ideas and troubleshooting of current problems. This can be an excellent way of increasing awareness of the capabilities of the rotomolding process and discussing day-to-day molding issues.

In-house sessions work best for a group size of 7-10 people, allowing the opportunity to brainstorm current issues on the shopfloor and a free exchange of ideas. However, groups can be as large as 20 and still be effective.

Larger, general forums can be presented to 30-40+ people for lower interaction, general information sessions.

What is the Content?

A wide variety of topics are addressed in the seminar. These include:

General Markets and Products

The Basic Rotomolding Process

Materials

Molds

Machinery

Design

Quality

Practical Aspects

Troubleshooting

Specialty Processes

Process Economics

See Content for more details.

How to Choose Content for Groups?

The make-up of a seminar can be adjusted to suit the target group. A number of broad topics can be selected as the base starting point to cover 70-80% of the time allotted. However, the program is completely flexible so that questions can be answered as they arise and new topics inserted during the event.

See Customize for some suggested formats and overviews on the topics that can be covered.
