First stop Caracas, Venezuela.
A view over the city. Between 2 and 3 million people live in the valley around Caracas - the center is packed with high-density housing. The north is protected by a national park.
We needed a 4WD vehicle to reach the heights in the national park.
Hugo and Danimar Bisanti entertained us at a most unusual restaurant. One of five in Galipan, the restaurant is above cloud level in the mountains. Fabulous food and music - a truly magical experience.
This was the view over the clouds from the restaurant - spectacular sunset.
Frederico, Hugo, Roberto, Elias and Gustavo from Deco Glass and Chemical Containers Andina. Great hosts during an interesting and productive visit. They make a good team set to do some interesting things in rotational molding. |
