| Third stop, Santiago, Chile. We didn't quite know what to expect with Chile but it turns out to be quite a cosmopolitan and open city.
A view of the Andes as we dropped in from Sao Paolo.
Santiago by full moonlight on our first night - those are the Andes in the background.
Any excuse to visit a fellow rotomolder. Rodrigo Gumucio of Fibra in Santiago showed us around and took the time to discuss some future projects. Rotomolding is one part of their engineering firm's production which supports mining and water treatment facilities. Good visit.
Another good visit turned out to be the vineyard of Concha Y Toro, one of Chile's great wine producers.
Any opportunity for a glass of wine. This was Orla's fourth and it was only 10am! |
