We took a trip over to Telford where I gave a seminar on rotomolding - forgot to take a picture of the group - sorry. It was a good interactive session and, as always, I learned a few things from the participants.
What we then found out was that Telford is close to Iron Bridge where the world's first cast iron bridge was built and is still standing today. It dates from the late 1700s and is a World Heritage Site. The village (and the local pubs) is terrific with an olde world atmosphere.
This is the Table of Tolls dating back to the days when the bridge functioned as a main thoroughfare across the gorge. |
